Optimization without the grift

The men's self-improvement space has a business model problem: most of it is a funnel. The free content exists to sell the course, the course exists to sell the coaching, and somewhere in that pipeline the actual advice stopped mattering. Meanwhile the legitimate information — training science, hair loss medicine, financial basics — sits scattered across journals and subreddits in a format nobody follows through on.

Malemaxxing is the consolidation play: five domains, each reduced to frameworks with the 80/20 up front, evidence cited where it exists, and judgment labeled as judgment where it doesn't. No course. No coaching upsell. No supplement brand launching in Q4.

Decision guides

The most valuable thing we publish. For expensive or irreversible choices — hair transplants, telehealth prescriptions, high-ticket gear — we write the guide the seller structurally cannot: full cost accounting, failure modes, the profile of who shouldn't buy, and the questions to ask before money moves. If a guide ever reads like a sales page, something has gone wrong; tell us.

Money, disclosed

Some articles contain affiliate links, disclosed where they appear, and purchases through them can earn this site a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, this site earns from qualifying purchases. Editorial conclusions are set before monetization is considered — a recommendation you can't trust is worthless to you and, eventually, to us.

The sister site

Face-specific work — jawline mechanics, skincare verdicts, the softmaxxing hierarchy — lives at LooksmaxxingAdvice.com, which runs a stricter evidence-rating system suited to that terrain. This site picks up where the mirror ends.

Not medical, financial, or psychological advice: content here is general information for adults. For decisions about medication, procedures, mental health, or money that matters, consult a qualified professional who can see your actual situation.
